Thursday nights, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Authentic Living Center in Troy, 1640 Axtell Road (off Maple Road, just east of Coolidge)

These ongoing, hands-on cooking classes are designed to help you connect with your inner chef — join us and learn how to make creative, easy dinners and desserts from scratch!  We use unrefined, whole-food ingredients that are as good for your taste buds as they are for your health, exploring a new ingredients and swapping tips as we cook our way along new culinary paths.  Whether you’re just getting into the kitchen or you’re an experienced cook, classes are open to anyone who’s interested in learning more about food and how to prepare and enjoy it.

To sign up for individual classes or a six-week package, please contact the Authentic Living Center at (248) 822-9253. Grocery fee is $5 per class.  If you sign up for six classes, the total fee is $30; otherwise, the walk-in class fee is $10 per session.  (The six classes do not have to be consecutive.)  The current upcoming menu is emailed out with the RSVP request before each class.
