For those who are curious about exploring raw cuisine, Ani’s not-cookbook is a great place to start. Along with telling her story of how she got interested in raw food, she explains the raw-food philosophy of life and eating. Several of the recipes are accompanied by photos—you’ll find everything from soups and salads to main courses and desserts. Ani also runs a great website filled with recipes, videos, and blog posts. Even if you aren’t looking to make the switch to raw, you’ll enjoy incorporating some of these dishes into your daily cuisine. (Who would have thought that cashew nuts, sea salt, and minced onions could make such a great French dip??) And the fruit smoothies and salads are among the best you’ll find anywhere.
