Produce heaven! Westborn also has an excellent meat, fish, and deli counters. Also be sure to check out their Mexican/Latin ingredients section. If you have the time for a bit of a hunt, try to find the “exotic fruits” multi-tiered standing basket. (It’s usually somewhere near the main fruit stands.) Much to my delight, they’ve also recently begun the tradition of the cheese basket–i.e., a basket containing many little wedges of fascinating and tasty cheeses. You’ll find that nestled into the main cheese counter.
On the west side of Woodward, between 12 Mile and 11 Mile (just south of Catalpa).
