Okay, this isn’t local–it’s a national chain that began in California in 1966. We are, however, lucky to have several stores in the Metro Detroit area. Trader Joe’s has a wonderful organic/BST-free dairy case and a nice selection of frozen desserts. There’s also a small baked-goods shelf with a limited selection of artisan breads. And don’t miss the aisles of beverages, from juice and tea to wine and beer!
In Northville off I-275 and in Royal Oak on the east side of Woodward, between 12 Mile and 11 Mile (just south of Catalpa).
